The Akita Sake Club (ASC) was established in June 2006 to introduce the sake, food and culture from Akita Prefecture to the sake lovers of the NYC area. This spring ASC is proud to announce “The Spring Akita Sake Tasting Event” on May 18, 2018. This is our 25th tasting event since 2006 and we greatly appreciate those who have supported us in the past.

At this event we will present more than 45 of the finest sakes not only from Akita and the other northern Tohoku Regions, but also from all over Japan. Ms. Chizuko Niikawa, a renowned sake sommelier will also be present to answer questions regarding our sake offerings. Savor some of Akita’s delicacies such as Cold Inaniwa Noodle, Akita’s Miso & Honey Glazed Chicken, Iburi Gakko (smoked pickled radish), Akita Miso-flavored Mozzarella Cheese and other local dishes.

You will also enjoy performances by guest musicians Miss Akemi Yamada’s song and Mr. Richard Bennett who will be playing the piano. We hope you can join us for the 25th Tasting Event.

第二十五回「秋田酒クラブ」主催,　春の利き酒会開催のご案内
「秋田名物と全国の銘酒祭り」と題して春の利き酒会を開催します。

2006年6月、秋田県の銘酒、名産品、文化等を紹介することを目的として発足した同クラブですが、秋田県の人気銘柄はもちろん、現在は全国の銘酒を飲み比べもできる人気きき酒会として、早くも第２5回を迎えます。
秋田県からは、秋田晴、天の戸、木村、太平山など、他県からは東北を中心に、青森県　桃川、岩手県、南部美人、宮城県　鳳陽、福島県　奈良萬、大七、そして、全国からは、新潟県　八海山、石川県　天狗舞、佐賀県　天吹など、約45種類以上の銘酒のご案内を予定しております。秋田のお酒が好き、飲んでみたい、という方、どなたでも参加できます。
秋田名物「稲庭うどん」、「秋田味噌使用ハニー地鶏」、「いぶりがっこ、ちょろぎ」の漬物、「モッツァレラチーズの味噌漬け」、などのおつまみもご用意しています。
また、スペシャルゲストの山田朱美さんの歌とRichard Bennettさんのピアノ演奏をお楽しみいただけます。
尚、同クラブは、地球にやさしいきき酒会を目指し、皆様にご自身のお好みのお猪口やグラス
