Miso and Sake Workshop – Izakaya

In this class you will make various fermented foods and enjoy different sake selections throughout the year. Jessica Joly is the reigning Miss SAKE USA and certified Sake Sommelier who will host the class to educate guests on sake.

Location : Izakaya (326 E 6th Street, New York)
Price : $65 Cash only (Includes: Recipe, 1kg miso and a container, 2 glasses of sake and a sake handout)
Things to Bring : Apron or clothes that can get dirty, a hand towel, and pen/pencil

In this workshop , you will learn about miso,the type of miso, the difference in flavor, ,how to choose good quality miso,storage and how to cook using miso at home. After the lecture, students will make your own miso while drinking sake and learn a bit about different fermentation!
